Oligomerization of ethylene on Pd-aluminosilicate catalysts under pressure

At 100°, with increase in the pressure from 5 to 20 atm the degree of ethylene conversion on impregnated Pd-aluminosilicate and Pd-CaNaX catalysts passed through a maximum at 10–15 atm and was 15–20%.
Under pressure the impregnated Pd-aluminosilicate catalyst exhibits a high selectivity as regards ethylene dimerization. The yield of butenes when based on reacted ethylene reaches 93.5‰
