Simple synthesis of 11-dodecyl acid from cyclododecanone

Conclusions

A simple synthesis was proposed for 11-dodecenoic and 11-dodecynoic acids from cyclododecanone through. 1-oxa-2-oxo-cyclotridecane (1,12-dodecanolide).
