Conclusions

  1. 1.

An equation was obtained which describes the effect of pressure on the rate constants of liquid-phase hydrogen abstraction reactions.

  2. 2.

The contribution of the steric component to the activation volume was found in the abstraction of hydrogen atoms from sterically hindered phenols by diphenylpicrylhydrazyl.
