Conclusions
-
1.
The frequency of the vibrations of the CF bond in polyfluoropolynitroalkylnitramines was identified and calculated; it exhibits a narrow range of changes for the different compounds and decreases on substitution of the 3,3,3-fluorodinitropropyl radical by the 2,2,2-fluorodinitroethyl radical.
-
2.
The frequencies of the asymmetric vibrations of the nitramine group decreased on substitution of the trinitromethyl group by the fluorodinitromethyl group were also not dependent on the number of nitramine groups.
-
3.
Broadening or splitting of the absorption band corresponding to the asymmetric vibrations of the nitro group takes place due to the nonequivalence of the nitro groups.
-
4.
The number of bands corresponding to the vibrations of an ether group was decreased due to the shielding effect of the nitramine group.
