Brief Communications

Geminal bis(difluoroamino) alcohols were obtained by reacting difluoroamine with the trifluoroacetates of acetylenic alcohols and subsequent saponification. Some of the chemical properties of 2,2-bis(difluoroamino)-propanol were studied.
