Conclusions
The rate constants for the addition of triethylsilyl radicals to α-phenyl-N-tert-butylnitrone (kadd=(11±5)·106 liter/mole·sec) and 2,4,6-tri-tert-butylnitrosobenzene (kadd= (1.5±0.3)·109 liter/mole·sec) at ∼20°C were determined by the EPR method.
