Conclusions
A new method was developed for the synthesis of substituted hydroxypyrazine derivatives by reacting the hydrochlorides ofα-amino ketones with the acid chlorides of N-phthaloyl-α-amino acids in acetone in the presence of diethylaniline, and subsequent treatment of the intermediate N-(N′-phthaloyl-α′-aminoacyl)-α-amino ketones with aqueous sodium acetate solution at 100°.
