Conclusions
-
1.
We have synthesized monomers, thiaadamantane derivatives of methacrylic acid, and examined their copolymerization with methyl methacrylate and the properties of the copolymers.
-
2.
Thiaadamantyl methacrylates are not susceptible to radical polymerization but copolymerize to form thermally stable copolymers.
