Isomerization of unsaturated alcohols by rhodium hydrocarboranes to aldehydes and ketones

Conclusions

Rhodium hydrocarboranes catalyze the isomerization of primary unsaturated alcohols to the corresponding aldehydes, and that of secondary unsaturated alcohols to the corresponding ketones.
