Conclusions
-
1.
cis,trans,trans-1,5,9-Cyclododecatriene was hydrogenated in the presence of Rh(I) and Rh(III) complexes at atmospheric pressure and temperatures of 25, 50, and 75°.
-
2.
The highest yield of cyclododecene is obtained at 75° in the presence of the catalytic system RhPy3Cl3-NaBH4.
-
3.
The activity and selective action of the catalytic system composed of RhPy3Cl3 and NaBH4 both depend on the nature of the solvent, the order of mixing the components and their ratio, the triphenylphosphine concentration, and the reaction temperature.
