1.
Instead of the expected α-phenyl-β-diethyl(diphenyl)phosphonohydrazine, the α-phenyl-β-diethyl (diphenyl)phosphonohydrazines were obtained when the acid chlorides of the diethyl(diphenyl) phosphates are reacted with the unsymmetrical sodium phenylhydrazine in absolute benzene medium.

2.
The reaction of the dichloride of phthalic acid with the a-phenyl-β-diethyl(diphenyl)phosphonohydrazines in absolute benzene medium, in the presence of triethylamine, respectively gave 2-phenyl-3-diethylphosphono-1,4-phthalazinedione and 2-phenyl-3-diphenylphosphono-1,4-phthalazinedione.
