Conformation of anhydrides and imides of some cyclohexanedicarboxylic acids

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The diene adducts of butadiene with the N-phenyl- and N-p-chlorophenylmaleimides, and of their 4,5-dibromo derivatives, were obtained.

  2. 2.

    The molecules of the imides and of the anhydride of 4,5-dibromo-1,2-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid are found in solution as an armchair-bathtub equilibrium mixture.
