Conclusions
-
1.
The chemical synthesis of some uridine diphosphate glucose analogs, and specifically the 5-hydroxy-, 5-amino-, 5-chloro-, 5-bromo-, 5-iodo-, and 5-methoxyuridine derivatives, was accomplished.
-
2.
It was shown that the morpholide method of synthesizing pyrophosphates can be used for the preparation of the 5-halo- and 5-aminouridine derivatives. The progress of a side reaction was observed in the latter case. It was shown that the method cannot be used for the 5-hydroxyuridine derivatives.
-
3.
Conditions were developed for the synthesis of nucleoside diphosphate sugars via the nucleoside 5-imidazolides and it was shown that this method has wide application.
