Reaction of dihalocarbenes with some cycloolefins, derivatives of cyclohexene, cycloheptene, and cyclooctene

Conclusions

Dichlorocarbene and dibromocarbene were added to a number of cycloolefins with a ring size of C6-C8, and the relative reactivity of the latter toward these electrophilic reagents was determined.
