Conclusions

The formation of primary anion radicals of triphenylmethane (TPM) in the reaction with K, Na, or their alloys in solutions of tetrahydrofuran and 1, 2-dimethoxyethane was demonstrated.

A kinetic isotopic effect of decomposition of the anion radicals of TPM, equal to 0.53, was detected.
