1.
The general kinetics of the homolytic conversion of 3-fluoro-3,3-dichloro-2-bromopropene to 1-fluoro-1,2-dichloro-3-bromopropene and its dimerization in the interval 30–60° were studied. The values of the summary rate constants of dimerization and isomerization were determined.

2.
Depending on the method of initiation, conditions can be created for the predominant formation of the isomerization or dimerization products. At low temperatures the yield of the dimer is increased.
-
3.
The rate of conversion of 3-fluoro-3,3-dichloro-2-bromopropene to l-fluoro-1,2-dichloro-3-bromopropene in the photochemical initiation is more than two orders of magnitude below the corresponding rate of conversion of 3,3,3-trichloro-2-bromopropene to 1,1,2-trichloro-3-bromopropene.
