Conclusions
-
1.
The13C NMR spectra of some (trimethylsilylethynyl)carbonyl compounds of type (CH3)3SiC≡C-COX were studied.
-
2.
A correlation was observed to exist between the chemical shifts of the C=O carbons, ΔCα, β, and the integral intensity of the stretching vibration band of the C≡C bond (AC≡C) with the σ* constants of the X substituent.
