Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The authors have synthesized the hitherto undescribed solid rare-earth di-Β-hydroxyethyliminodiacetates of the composition KLnZ2·nH2O.

  2. 2.

    A comparison of the results of thermal, x ray, and IR spectroscopic analyses shows that the structures of KLnZ2· nH2O undergo a change along the rare-earth series.
