Conclusions

A method was developed for the synthesis of heteroannularly substituted ferrocenyl derivatives of gold, XC5H4FeC5H4AuPPh3, from organomercury compounds via the cationic gold complexes [XC5H4FeC5H4-(AuPPh3)2]+BF 4 , X=Br, Cl, OCH3, COOCH3.
