Conclusions
-
1.
A study was made of intramolecular hydrogen bond migration in the ion pairs of the 3,6-di-tert-butylsemiquinone radical-anion with alkylammonium cations of variable structure.
-
2.
On the basis of detecting EPR spectra that are characteristic for the formation of radical pairs it was concluded that in toluene solution the ion pairs of semiquinones undergo association to polymeric associates.
