Conclusions
-
1.
A study was made of reversible proton transfer from 3,6-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxyphenoxyl to tertiary aliphatic amines and 4-methylpyridine; the equilibrium constants and rate constants of proton transfer from radical to amine were obtained.
-
2.
The obtained thermodynamic and kinetic parameters are discussed from the standpoint of the aggregation of the ion pairs of the semiquinone radical ions into polymeric associates.
