Conclusions
-
1.
A study was made of the13NMR spectra of some silicon and germanium acetylenic carbonyl-containing compounds and it was found that the heteroatomic and carbonyl groups function as acceptors toward the triple bond, thus lowering its reactivity.
-
2.
The effect of the heteroatom on the carbonyl group through the triple bond is slight.
