Conclusions
-
1.
The35Cl NQR spectra of some cyclic P(III) acid chlorides were studied.
-
2.
An increase in the size of the ring is accompanied by an increase in the35Cl NQR frequencies, independent of the nature of the endocyclic substituents. The addition of mesomeric positive substituents to the phosphorus atom leads to a decrease in the35Cl NQR frequencies and an increase in the length of the P-Cl bond.
