Reactions of alicyclic α-bromoketones in concentrated sulfuric acid

Conclusions

Monocyclicα-bromoketones when heated in concentrated sulfuric acid undergo complex transformations whose common feature is the formation ofα-bromodiketomonocycloalkanes.
