Geometrical structure of the dighloroanhydride OF α-chloroethylthiophosphonic ACID

Conclusions

In the liquid state and in solution, the dichloroanhydride ofα-chloroethylthiophosphonic acid exists as a two-conformer equilibrium with the P=S and C-Cl, and P=S and C-H bonds in trans orientation.
