Conclusions
-
1.
A study has been made of the kinetics of the adsorption of various aliphatic alcohols from aqueous solution onto SKT charcoal, and of the behavior of the thermodynamic adsorption functions under variation of the bulk phase composition.
-
2.
Effects similar to those arising from capillary stratification are met in the adsorption of solutions of completely miscible components.
