Conclusions
The synthesis of 3S-(1′R,2′R,3′S,4′-tetrahydroxybutyl)-2,5-diketopiperazine and its 1-N-carboxy-methyl derivative was described. The synthesized compounds do not inhibit the neuraminidase of cholera bacillus.
