Conclusions

A comparison of the IR spectra of the catalysts after the reaction with the spectra of the starting materials and its immediate products and model complex compounds, showed that in the interaction of the catalyst Co/Al2O3 with amino alcohols in the process of cycloamination Co-N, Al-N, C-O-Co, and C-O-Al bonds are formed; there is a protonation of the amino group. By the end of the process, surface compounds of the type of ethylenediamine chelates are formed.
