Conclusions

  1. 1.

The mass spectra of octamethylspiro-(5,5)-pentasiloxane, cis- and trans-tetramethyltetraphenylspiro-(5,5)-pentasiloxanes, and cis-dimethylhexaphenylspiro-(5,5)-pentasiloxane were investigated.

  2. 2.

The decomposition of these compounds is typical on the whole of organocyclosiloxanes; however, the bicyclic siloxane skeleton is more stable to dissociation.
