Conclusions
-
1.
The interaction of an aqua-complex of Ru(IV) with the chloride ion was studied according to the electronic spectra at room temperature and an ionic strength of 4.0 M (HClO4, HCl).
-
2.
The concentration conditions of existence of a complex with the presumed composition [Ru2OCl8(H2O)2]2− or [RuOCl4]2−) were determined, and its conditional constant of formation was calculated.
