1.
Graphic and tabular data are given for the kinetics of adsorption on biporous adsorbents with linear adsorption isotherms, the cases covered being those applying to different values of the ratio of relaxation times in transport and adsorption pores with [i.e., with various values of the parameter ɛ=τa/(τa + τi)] adsorbents in spherical, cylindrical, and pellet form. For fixed value of ɛ, the departure from classical kinetics is most pronounced for spherical granules, less for cylindrical granules, and least of all for granules in pellet form.

2.
The absolute difference between the kinetic curve for the biporous adsorbent and the classical curve for the homogeneous adsorbent is maximal at a certain time tm, an increase in ɛ increasing tm and flattening the curve around the maximum point.

3.
An analytical expression for the biporous adsorbent kinetic γ(t) curve, applicable for various values of the ratio of the diffusional relaxation times ti and τa and at degrees of filling ranging from 0 to 0.6–0.7, has been obtained.
