Conclusions
-
1.
A number of O-ethyl O-β-alkylmercaptoethyl benzylphosphonates and their methylated iodides have been synthesized.
-
2.
The O-ethyl O-β-alkylmercaptoethyl benzylphosphonates and their methylated iodides were found to be reversible inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase and butyrylcholinesterase of a competitive type.
