Conclusions

  1. 1.

A new electrochemical reaction was discovered, namely the anodic trifluoromethylation of substituted benzenes by trifluoroacetic acid.

  2. 2.

It was shown that the mechanism of the anodic process in the system CF3COOH-aromatic compound changes when acetonitrile is added to the system.
