Molecular structure of cis-trifluoromethylmercury-bis(triphenylphosphine)trifluoromethylplatinum(II)

Conclusions

An x-ray structure study has shown that the CF3HgPt(CF3)[P(C6H5)3]2 molecule exists in cis configuration. The length of the Hg-Pt bond has been determined for the first time as 2.569(2) Å.
