Steric structure of 3-methyl-bicyclo [4.1.0]heptene oxides

Conclusions

The dipole moments and molar Kerr constants were determined for the trans- and cis-oxides of 3-methyl-bicyclo[4.1.0]hept-3-ene and 3-methyl-bicyclo[4.1.0]hept-2-ene. A conclusion was made regarding their preferred conformations.
