Conclusions

The nature of the aluminosilicate support for the Co catalyst has great importance both for the course and the composition of the products of the ethylene hydropolymerization reaction, initiated by CO at 190°, in that it affects the ratio of the isomers of theα- andβ-olefins, the cis- and trans-forms of the latter, and the ratio of the hydrocarbons with a straight-chain and iso structure, while it has a relatively weak effect on the distribution of the hydrocarbons based on the number of carbon atoms.
