Conclusions

  1. 1.

A number of simple and comparatively efficient systems was proposed for the oxidation of saturated hydrocarbons in conjugation with the oxidation of a number of metal salts of variable valence, in which connection nearly 100% selectivity in product (either ketone or alcohol) can be achieved in these systems.

  2. 2.

A study was made of the effect of the individual components of the system on the yield of oxidation products and on the selectivity.
