1.
The solubility isotherms of AlI3-MI-Et2O, where M=Na, K, Rb, Cs, at 25° have three crystallization branches: AlI3-Et2O, MAlI4, and MI. Similar to the other halides, aluminum iodide forms the complex AlI3·Et2O. with diethyl ether.

2.
The equilibrium in the systems: AlI3-MI-C7H8, where M=Na, K, Rb, at 25° is determined by the successive crystallization of AlI3, MalI4, and MI. The crystallization branch of CsAl2I7 was found on the AlI3-CsI-C7H8 isotherm at 25°.
