1.
The influence of the time of storage on the electrical properties of three groups of polymers: polyferrocenes, polynitriles, and polyphenylenes, was investigated. Measurements of the electric conductivity in air established that after two years polyferrocenes become practically dielectrics, the conductivity of polynitriles decreases by 1–8 orders of magnitude, and polyphenylenes show stable values of the electric conductivity even after three years.

2.
It was shown by the methods of IR spectroscopy and x-ray diffraction study that polyferrocenes and polynitriles are oxidized with time, with a change in the molecular and supermolecular structure, while polyphenylenes remain stable.
