Conclusions

Linear cooligomerization of piperylene with propylene over the catalyst NiCl2[P(C4H9)3]2- (C2H5)2AlCl results in the formation of 2,3-dimethyl-1,4-hexadiene and 4,5-dimethyl-2,5,8-undecatriene, and to their isomers containing conjugated double bonds.
