Conclusions
-
1.
The rate of the electron exchange between o-nitrochlorobenzene and its anion radical is significantly smaller than that expected from the correlation between logkexc anda N obtained for the meta- and para-substituted nitrobenzene.
-
2.
The study of the spin-spin exchange in the anion radicals showed that the degree of overlap between the orbitals has no effect on electron exchange in the series of substituted nitrobenzenes.
