Conclusions
Methods were developed for the synthesis of 2,6-di-tert-butylphenols that are substituted in the 4 position by HOCH2CH2CH2 and XCH2CH2 groups, where X = OH, COOH, CONH2, CONHR, CONR2, CONHNH2, and HOCH2CH2O.
