Communication 78. N-acetates of 16,17α-epimino-20-ketosteroids in ring-opening reactions by thiocyanic acid

Conclusions

We determined the conditions for opening the aziridine ring of the 16,17α-acetylepimines of 20-ketosteroids with thiocyanic acid and obtained the 17α-acetylamines of 20-ketopregnenes that contain the thiocyanato and thiol functions in position 16.
