Conclusions

When trimethyl phosphite, tri(dimethylamino)phosphine, triphenylphosphine, and dimethylphosphorous acid are reacted with 2-oxo-1,3-dithio-1,3-diphenylpropane the latter is desulfurized and deoxidized.
