Conclusions
-
1.
Under the influence of strong bases the 1-allyl-o-carboranes isomerize completely to the trans-1-propenyl-o-carboranes.
-
2.
We determined the kinetic parameters of the isomerization of 1-ally1-2-isopropyl-o-carborane to l-propenyl-2-isopropyl-o-carborane under the influence of (CH3)3COK in (CH3)3- COH solution.
