Conclusions
-
1.
2-Hydropentafluoropropane-2-β-sultone was obtained by the sulfotrioxidation of 2-hydropentafluoropropylene.
-
2.
A number of 1-sulfonyl-2, 2, 2-trifluoropropionic acid and 2, 2, 2-trifluoroethanesulfonic acid derivatives were prepared from this β-sultone.
-
3.
2, 2, 2-Trifluoroethanesulfonyl fluoride and its α-mono-substituted derivatives are CH acids.
