Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The rate of hydrogenation of 2-methyl-2-butene on the Rb form of type Y zeolite is directly proportional to the partial pressures of the olefin and H2.

     
  2. 2.

    The kinetic equation of the hydrogenation reaction, derived on the basis of a scheme assuming the formation of an intermediate semihydrogenated complex, well describes the experimental data obtained.
