Summary

  1. 1.

We have shown the possibility of reciprocal volumetric determination of cerium salts and trisodium phosphate. The end of the titration is fixed by phenolphthalein or potentiometrically.

  2. 2.

The relative accuracy of the determination of cerium salts and Na3PO4 in solutions which contain 0.01–0.10 g-ion/liter of cerium or mole/liter Na3PO4 varies in the range±0.3–3.8% The time of the determination is 30–60 minutes.
