Summary
-
1.
We determined by the ebullioscopic method the molecular weight of stem and boll lignin of the cotton plant as isolated by the process of Björkman. The lignins were the same not only in composition, but also in value of molecular weight.
-
2.
We have given the composition of the lignin isolated from the cotton plant by mechanical grinding.
