Summary
-
1.
We have shown for the first time the possibility of addition of nitroalkanes to acrylic esters of nitroalcohols in the case of 1,1-dinitropropane, 1,1-dinitrobutane, and 2,2,2-trinitroethyl ester of acrylic acid.
-
2.
We have obtained the previously unknown trinitroalkanes by addition of 1,1-dinitropropane to 1-nitro-1-alkenes.
